Every Cell
02:50
|
|||
Sitting here with a bottle of wine,
Thinking of the words I should write,
With the shadow of twenty other songs that I've written
Looming over me about other girls with whom I was smitten
And sure I'm worried these songs won't be as poetic
Despite the fact I loved you and I didn't admit it
And every 9yrs I hear every cell in our body dies
To be reborn like a natural baptism of membranes and nuclei.
and here in my 3rd incarnation
my cells feel much calmer I need no more revelations
Im certain that I love you with every cell,

I'm Going to Give It
02:35
|
|||
I'm going to give it... I'm going to give it... I'm going to give it all to God.
Iiiieeeeeee give nothing to God, give nothing to God and Caesar takes it all.

Dopamine
03:38
|
|||
I blame it on the screens,
The particles of light,
Those tiny little beams,
That stay in my head at night.
I'll blow them to smithereens,
Blow the dust of them out of sight,
I'll take their alpha glow
and drop them from great heights
Oh Dopamine, find another way through me.
Or I'll blame it on my blood
The heart that deceives
Although it is my life
and pumps the lie through me
So in death I must die,
An the hammer I concede
And I give it to the Wine
In whose blood I am free.
Oh Dopamine, find another way through me.

Big Black Hole
04:11
|
|||
There are pictures being taken of women that are naked
There are films and stories and pictures being painted
There are things you're buying that soon will be outdated
And there is money being made that cannot be abated
It all gets thrown in the Big Black Hole
And fools rush in to where once we would have waited
There are songs being sung that are neither loved nor hated
There are books upon the shelves unread and underrated
There is blood being spilled by swords that are sated.
It all gets thrown in the Big Black Hole
There are some that remain there for a time
Treading water on an ever increasing incline
But what I have is yours whats yours is mine
Join my love, join the church on the precipice of time
So here I go head first amidst the violence
Where the angels in light are
There to give the guidance
Not in earthquake wind or fire, but a still small voice in silence
The voice of the Lord in a timeless alliance
Standing over the big black hole
So in space i'm floating
My body lacks compliance
Like Jonah in the seaweed I sink in my defiance
And when i see that all is futile and understand my reliance
On the big black hole and all its science
It brings me to the Lord of all
And outside of time there He stands, He pulls me from the big black hole with His hands

From The Aeroplane
04:15
|
|||
From the aeroplane I imagined Jesus return
From this position I wondered what I’d learn
I imagined a bullet of clear shining light
Burst through the clouds whist I was in flight
Now the apostle Paul told me that I'd meet him in the air
But what does it mean if I'm already up there.
Would I see also ascending to meet me in the clouds
All saints attending with Christ as a crowd?
Shaking off the dirt that held them in their graves,
In the twinkling of an eye, I know, we all shall be changed.
Knowing that the dead in Christ they must see him first.
With chaos all around me I must wait my turn.
Maybe I should turn and address the people on the plane
Let the captain know, it’s OK, Christ has come again.
And perhaps I’ll be pulled from the plane with no warning and with no life vest
To a new age that is dawning, and by his grace eternal rest.
For little did we know that whilst we were in flight
Armies from the North had taken Israel in the night.
And like Abraham before him he'll rescue his straying kin
They’ll bow at his feet before him and realise that the one that they pierced was him.

I'm Going to Take it
04:02
|
|||
I am going to take and throw it in the air.
And I hope that when it lands she will still be there.
For to behold her beauty and her red hair
Her face finally before me unflinching as I stare,
Is a pure blue sky of glory full of spring time air.
So I am gonna take it and throw it all in the air.
Silently I'm waiting for chaos to undo her pride.
And redraw the map with me now by her side.
So her eyes are un-retracted and she does no longer hide,
From the implications of the train we ride,
In the night I’m pacing and here I will reside
Silently I'm waiting for chaos to undo her pride.
So I am quiet now but soon that time will come
My confidence is shaky but I must trust what has begun.
Perhaps when the spring is over we'll talk of love in summer Sun
Taking time to grow the sapling before the sickle is swung
For it is your love I’m after thats the race I run
But I am quiet now for soon my time will come.

Wisdom
05:12
|
|||
If there is any wisdom I could impart in song to you.
It's is that I know he loves me and the word he speaks is true.
And I know there is A curtain
and it proves he is alive
For it leads to the most holy
It is the way the truth and the life
And it is woven of 3 colours
a detailed weave Red, purple and blue
death is no more and the way is open
ever since it got torn in two.
And the red is the name of Adam
And the 2nd is a priestly blue
the purple robe was put upon him
and he did what he had to do
And now you see that tabernacle
was just a shadow of what we view
The temple walls are within us
The dwelling place is somewhere new.
And I am blessed by his hand
And I am but one grain of sand
