Inspired by classic Simon and Garfunkel fingerpicking styles as well as Nick Drake's use of percussion. (pinched that "Cello Song" ending a bit but on a Tabla of course...) Boat to Row we're the only choice for this song, whereas the other collaborators have totally transformed the original songs, I'm happy this one built on the original idea and perfected it.
This track was recorded in various locations including Boat to Row's rehearsal space at Highbury Studios which has sadly since closed.
Very grateful for the Tabla playing by Zia Hashmi
